HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset

HP and Microsoft have introduced a mixed reality headset with controls aimed not only at VR gaming but also at immersive entertainment applications. I was delighted to lead of this project, from the creation of critical visuals at the early stages of marketing to the global launch of the final campaign website.

Role: Design Lead

Reality leaves a lot to the imagination

When a tight timetable collided with an insufficient amount of UX research, a two-phase solution came in handy. The first phase's user analytics enhance the direction of creating essential selling elements for the second phase.

While creating the overall visual and gathering user data, we used the window to produce more detailed and insightful specifications. This was an example of effective time management, successfully converting obstacles into advantages.

Part reality. Part revolutionary.

We discovered that the majority of users are not only gamers, but also tech fans eager to be on the cutting edge of VR technology. In addition, random users who are interested in VR but are scared by the cost, compatibility, or setup difficulties.

As a result, we began with gaming materials, followed by important feature demonstrations that used motion controllers, and finished with an increasing application library, comparison chart, and list of system requirements.
